2006/2007 Bernard Lokai at Martin Leyer - Pritzkow Exhibitions

Exhibition of works by the Gerhard Richter disciple Bernard Lokai
from 2nd of December 2006 - 16th of Januar 2007

Lokai was one of nine painters, who took part in the exhbition "Junge Figurative" (English: "Young Figuratives") at Karolinen Palais in 2001 and at Mönchhaus Museum für moderne Kunst Goslar in 2002. This exhibition series is held as the first to show new figurative painting in Germany. It became the precursor of new figurative painting, which in the meantime has reached worldwide attention.
