“The efforts of Geismar are very much of the like inherent in the sentiments of Jasper Johns to take an object to do something to it, to do something else to it and then do something else.”

His works use the everyday objects of life, the leftover remains of a consumer society that gets rid of the superflous materials. Out of them he creates something completely new. He breathes them a new soul, he developes a new sensuality. His works arenot narrative, non-imaging showing and also want to show anything real. He is concerned with the essence of the essential, the unveneered view to an aspect or an object. He makes the transience of the monent visible and tangible.
