CONTEMPORARY ART PHOTOGRAPHY

Robert Pufleb is born 1969 and is a photographer, graduated in Photography/Visual Communication from the University of Wuppertal, He having attended HdK Berlin as well as at USC, Los Angeles.

Robert Pufleb lives and works in Düsseldorf.

Robert Pufleb art photography focuses on abstract acting photographs that become concrete on closer inspection. He works on the principle: I do not seek, I find not, I meet.

What he photographs are for example everyday scenes from his urban environment, bizarre object constellations, unexpected views, absurd situations. He meets the situations, he recognizes and creates new images that annoying in their visual refinement, and thus enable new aesthetic experiences. They impress because they become so unique art works.

Robert Pufleb won last year the price of the Bergisch audience award at Kunstmuseum Solingen. In 2013 his art photography could be seen at the exhibition Ed Ruscha – issued Books & Co. in the Larry Gagosian Gallery in New York.

His works had been presented international e.g. in Paris, New York and Moscow.
