Bernard Lokai lives and works in Düsseldorf. He is former Masterpupilfrom Gerhard Richter. Since several years he is lecturer at the free Art Academy of Essen. His works are presented in United States ofAmerika by the Hosfelt Gallery.
In his works Lokai is departing from the landscape painting and focusing on the abstraction of space and the dissolving of the idea of horizon.
