Brigitte Stenzel studied at the Munich Art Academy. Born in Freising, she lives and works in Munich. The exhibition will present new works from 2019 to 2021. In her painting she devotes herself to the pictorial genres of still life, interiors and landscapes.

For many viewers, her paintings initially appear very realistic, photographic and almost pictorial. On closer inspection, we experience a painting that enters another sphere and expresses something entirely different of its own.

“Stenzel’s painterly realization takes place in a gradual, very reflective process. Many glazes and subtle nuances give the paintings an atmosphere flooded with light.” (Anne Rodler) This makes them unique and very moving.
